Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how RavenCut collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use ravencut.com, create videos, connect third-party accounts, or contact support. RavenCut does not sell personal data or Google user data.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: email address, password hash, account verification status, plan, credits, preferences, and Google Sign-In identifier when you choose Google login.
• Content and project data: source text, URLs, prompts, scripts, scene instructions, selected voices and models, generated media, titles, thumbnails, output files, and project status.
• Connected-service data: YouTube channel information described below, Telegram account and chat identifiers when linked, and provider-specific settings you choose.
• Billing and support data: plan and transaction references from PayPal or Telegram Stars and information you send when requesting support.
• Security and operational data: IP address, request time, browser or device information, authentication events, error details, and application logs needed to secure and operate the service.

3. Google and YouTube API Data

When you choose Google Sign-In or connect a YouTube channel, RavenCut may receive your stable Google Account identifier, primary email address, display name, and profile image through the openid, userinfo.email, and userinfo.profile scopes. RavenCut uses this data only to authenticate or link your RavenCut account, display your account identity, and ensure that a connected YouTube channel belongs to the signed-in user.

Connecting a YouTube channel is optional. When you press Connect Channel, RavenCut requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

• youtube.readonly: RavenCut currently uses this scope to retrieve the identity and basic metadata of the YouTube channel you selected, including channel ID, channel name, and available profile image.
• youtube.upload: RavenCut uses this scope to upload a finished video and, when available, its title, description, tags, thumbnail, audience designation, and the visibility setting you selected.

RavenCut stores the connected YouTube channel ID, name, profile image URL, connection time, publishing preferences, upload status and video ID, and encrypted OAuth access and refresh credentials. RavenCut does not use the read-only scope to read your watch history, subscriptions, comments, private video contents, or analytics.

4. Actions RavenCut Takes on YouTube

RavenCut uploads only when you press an upload command or enable auto-upload for a connected channel. New connections default to Public. You can choose Private, Unlisted, or Public visibility and specify whether a video is made for kids. RavenCut does not delete or modify existing YouTube videos through the current integration.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, operate and secure RavenCut, process source material, generate and render requested media, provide previews and downloads, publish videos when authorized, process billing, send transactional messages, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve service reliability.

RavenCut does not use Google or YouTube user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or training general-purpose AI models. YouTube account data and OAuth credentials are not sent to RavenCut's AI generation providers.

RavenCut uses TLS for data in transit, hashes passwords with bcrypt, restricts operational access, and encrypts supported API keys and YouTube OAuth credentials at rest. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

• Disposable render intermediates are removed after a video completes. The final MP4 and poster image are retained for download and are scheduled for automatic removal after 30 days. Related project records and YouTube upload links may remain in your account history.
• YouTube OAuth credentials are retained while the channel remains connected and are cleared when you disconnect, when authorization becomes invalid, or when the associated account data is deleted.
• After disconnection, basic channel metadata and upload history may remain with your RavenCut account until you request account-data deletion.
• Limited billing, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or legal records may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.

8. Service Providers and Data Sharing

RavenCut shares only the information needed to provide a feature you request. Depending on your choices, providers may include Google and YouTube for authentication and publishing; PayPal and Telegram Stars for payments; Telegram for bot features; DeepSeek for text generation; fal.ai and RunPod for media generation or processing; ElevenLabs for voice synthesis; Pexels, Pixabay, and Wikimedia for source media; Brevo for transactional email; and Sentry for error monitoring.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. RavenCut may also disclose information to comply with law, protect users and the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to applicable notice and consent requirements.

9. Cookies

RavenCut currently uses essential cookies for authentication, session security, and connected-service authorization. These cookies are required for the service to work. RavenCut does not currently use advertising cookies.

With your permission, RavenCut also uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and engagement. Analytics is off until you accept it. You can reject analytics or change your choice using Privacy preferences. Page addresses sent to Analytics omit query parameters and fragments.

If you accept analytics, RavenCut keeps a first-touch traffic category in a cookie for up to 30 days and associates that category with a new account to measure signups, first completed videos, and verified payments. Account measurement records are retained while the account exists. RavenCut does not send account email addresses, OAuth credentials, or payment details to Google Analytics. Withdrawing consent while signed in removes the traffic category from your account's measurement records. Essential account, video, and billing records remain necessary to operate the service.

10. Disconnecting, Revoking, and Deleting Data

• Disconnect in RavenCut: open Settings, find YouTube Publishing, and choose Disconnect. This stops auto-upload and clears stored YouTube OAuth access and refresh credentials.
• Revoke through Google: remove RavenCut from your Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents future API access but does not by itself delete your RavenCut account, generated videos, or non-credential channel records.
• Access or deletion request: email [email protected] from your account email to request access, correction, export, or deletion. We may verify your identity before completing the request.

11. Children

RavenCut is a general-audience creator service and is not directed to children under 13. A content setting such as "made for kids" describes the intended audience of an uploaded video; it does not make RavenCut a child-directed service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when RavenCut's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date above identifies the current version. Material changes affecting Google user data will be disclosed before the new use begins and, where required, renewed consent will be requested.
